MediaMax Network is a media sales organization with a keen focus on providing best-in-class solutions for clients with specific local/geo needs.  MediaMax is the exclusive partner to Conde Nast for all local/regional print advertising sales. Beyond Conde Nast, MediaMax has a number of digital programs and platforms all intended to help clients meet and exceed their goals and KPIs.

We have an immediate opening for a top producing digital media sales professional who possesses the stature to represent MediaMax.

Qualifications:

  • Will to win
  • Proven success in a digital role (sales and/or planning)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of SalesForce

This position reports directly to VP of Sales and will have access to full support network based in Valhalla, NY Headquarters.

Ideal candidates will have current, active contacts in the advertising community including agency and client side contacts in your regional market, as well as other areas across the country. We are expanding the business development team for our fast-growing company and are looking for results-driven, passionate team players to help us build leads and build engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Partner with senior sales reps to help them move accounts through the sales funnel

Suggested Experience & Skills:

  • 1-3 years of quota-based, B2B sales experience or a strong interest in sales
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills 
  • Positive and energetic personality
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding measurable performance goals

A Huge Plus:

  • Experience in advertising, print or digital
  • Prior Salesforce.com or SalesLoft experience

Client Services/Production Designer

Client Services/Production Designer

The Client Services/Production Designer will be responsible for asset collection, ad design, ad revisions and any other production related responsibilities as it pertains to our Small Business Division. The clients in this division are smaller mom and pop type of businesses who may or may not have advertised previously. In most cases, the clients will have an ad to provide but may not have the means to size it to be spec. The Designer will need to be able to recreate or revise the ad in these cases. Full ad design will also be required as some clients do not have the means to have one created on their own. While MediaMax is not a full-service creative agency, the Designer must have the ability to create a press ready ad from assets, text, logos and direction provided by the client. This is both a design and client services role. The client services portion includes but is not limited to the following: asset collection, sending material reminders, counter card creation/ordering, assist in layout, operational responsibilities, communicate with various departments and publishers.

This position requires extreme attention to detail, heavy client contact and the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines. Candidate for this position is organized, diligent, outgoing and can effectively communicate with sales team and an extensive client list. This is a full-time position in the Valhalla office.

Key Functions:

  • Asset collection of print materials
  • Designing press ready ads in Photoshop and/or InDesign
  • Revising client creative to meet specs as necessary
  • Understanding of print specs to effectively communicate to clients
  • Provide operational support to the Ad Ops/Production department
  • Heavy client contact

Requirements:

  • Production/Design experience a must
  • Proficient in InDesign/Photoshop
  • Customer Service experience
  • Organized and strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
