Account Manager

MediaMax Network, through its partnership with Condé Nast Publishing, provides exclusive, strategic, locally targeted ad campaigns for marketers of all sizes. We have immediate openins for top producing media sales professionals who have the stature to represent prestigious media brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Glamour, Epicurious.com, Wired.com and many others in both print and digital formats.

  • Proven success in a sales role; Media or Advertising sales preferred
  • Selling variety of media including print, traditional digital, streaming video, etc.
  • Report directly to VP of Sales
  • Access to full support network based in Valhalla, NY Headquarters

Ideal candidates will have current, active contacts in the advertising community including agency and client side contacts in your regional market, as well as other areas across the country. This is an ideal opportunity for motivated sales professionals who wan to advance their careers and income potential by representing world-class media brands in a fast-growing, progressive sales organization. Business Development Representative

Job Description

As the exclusive local partner of Condé Nast and the Meredith Parenting Group, as well as hundreds of digital properties, we provide geo-targeted, integrated solutions that provide access and influence to our clients' best customers.

We are expanding the business development team for our fast-growing company and are looking for results-driven, passionate team players to help us build leads and build engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Partner with senior sales reps to help them move accounts through the sales funnel

Suggested Experience & Skills:

  • 1-3 years of quota-based, B2B sales experience or a strong interest in sales
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and energetic personality
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding measurable performance goals
  • Self-starter, competitive, and drive to win
  • The ability to handle objections and think on your feet
  • An Associates or Bachelor's degree

A Huge Plus:

  • Experience in advertising, print or digital
  • Prior Salesforce.com or SalesLoft experience
  • Formal sales training
